Additional 44 trade union locals set in Q1

In the first quarter of 2024, the whole province established additional 44 trade union locals and admitted another 15,901 trade unionists. During the period, 564 agencies and units completed the organization of conferences for cadres, civil servants and public employees. There were 413 enterprises with trade unions organizing employees’ conferences; 831 trade union locals of non-State enterprises organizing dialogues at the workplace; 27 new collective labor deals signed.

Provincial Labor Union approved and supported 1,544 trade unionists and workers whose working hours were reduced or labor contracts terminated with a total amount of more than VND 2.66 billion; made law dissemination and provided legal aid for 1,350 workers...
