Adjustment of electricity subsidies for poor, near-poor and social policy households

Provincial People's Committee has issued the Decision No. 1554/QĐ-UBND on adjusting electricity subsidies for poor households, newly escaped poor households and social policy beneficiaries in the province. The decision takes effect from June 10, 2025 and replaces the Decision No. 16/2024/QĐ-UBND dated July 5, 2024.

Specifically, the electricity subsidy for poor households, newly escaped poor households and social policy beneficiaries in the province has been adjusted as follows: from January to April 2025, the subsidy is VND 61,333 per household per month; from May 2025 onward, it is VND 64,281 per household per month. The funding for this support will be sourced from the local budget, in accordance with the current decentralization regulations stipulated in the Clause 3, Article 1 of Decision No. 16/2024/QĐ-UBND dated July 5, 2024, regarding electricity subsidies for poor, near-poor and social policy households in Binh Duong province.
