Administrative sanction against violation in medical insurance at VND 150 million most

From and on November 15, the government’s Decree Number 117/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanction against violation in medical insurance comes into force. Accordingly, the maximum sanction is VND 75 million against individuals and VND 150 million against organizations. The particular violation varies from preventive medicine to healthcare and medical equipment. As for violation governed by Articles 80 and 95, the sanction would be against medical insurance premium, medical insurance cards, health examination records, medical insurance prescription, management of medicine, chemical, material, and technologies, bed fees and other expenses of health examination and medical insurance healthcare.
