Administrative sanctions imposed against three food processing and business establishments

As implementing the Action Month of Food Safety, the interdisciplinary food safety inspection team of Ben Cat City conducted food safety inspections in local communes and wards.

Thereby, the delegation inspected 50 food processing and business establishments (including 29 school collective kitchens; 4 corporate and enterprise collective kitchens; 3 food service establishments; 8 establishments providing industrial meals and 6 food production and business establishments).

As a result, there were 29 establishments that met food safety and hygiene standards, 21 establishments that did not (including 4 school collective kitchens; 3 company and enterprise collective kitchens; 3 food service establishments; 8 establishments providing industrial meals and 3 food production and business establishments).

The delegation made a record requesting administrative fines of 41 million VND to 3 establishments; 8 establishments signed a commitment to overcome; forced to suspend operations of a production and business facility.
