Advantages of using liquid natural gas

On June 24, PV Gas in cooperation with the local department of Trade and Industry, the provincial management board of industrial parks, VISIP management board held a seminar themed “offering liquid natural gas (LNG) for local industrial parks”. The seminar introduced LNG and PV Gas’ strategy in offering LNG for clients, businesses and IPs.

From 2014 PV Gas will import one million ton of LNG per year. In the first period, PV Gas will provide and distribute LNG for the Southeastern region. Tran Hung Hien, vice general director of PV Gas, said LNG is 10-30% cheaper than fuels of FO, DO and petrol. In addition, LNG is a clean and environmentally friendly fuel.

At the seminar, Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee applauded PV Gas’ seminar and pledged to offer favorable conditions for providing LNG for local IPs and businesses.
