After 2 implementation years of Directive 05-CT/TW: Studying and following Uncle Ho becomes a regular, voluntary task

To develop achievements of Politburo's Directive 06-CT/TW in 2006 on the organization of the campaign "Learning and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example" followed by Directive 03 –TT/TW in 2011, after 2 implementation years, the Politburo's Directive 05-CT/TW on "Promoting learning and following ideals, ethics and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh" has spread widely and deeply on lives, has a positive impact on the performance of socio-economic development tasks and the building of political system in the whole province.

Deep absorption and spreading

In order for the studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideals, morals and styles, the Party, government and mass organizations have propagated in various forms, abundant. In parallel with the organization of cadres and party members to watch DVDs of speeches by the Central’s reporters at conferences organized by provincial Party Committee to thoroughly implement the Politburo’s Directive 05-CT/TW, localities and units used annual training materials prepared by the Central Commission for Propaganda and Education for the implementation of study instruction in localities and units. Besides, the content of study and Uncle Ho follow the regular activities of the Party, agencies and units have gone into order.

At the grassroots level, a concrete plan on the content of monthly meetings of the sub-committee was attached; the focus was on the contact, the performance of the political tasks of the agency and unit with the general ethical standards of agencies, units and content of the "Following Uncle Ho" commitment of each individual. Grassroots party committees, and agencies and units continued to implement telling stories about the thought, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh to draws lessons, experiences for individuals and collectives in the study, cultivating according to the ideology, morality, lifestyle of Uncle Ho.

On the other hand, mass media in the province based on the propaganda plan of provincial Party Commission for Propaganda and Education to actively develop the plan to further promote propaganda, focusing on maintaining specialized pages and sections to popularize the study and follow Uncle Ho among the people. Fatherland Front Committees and socio-political organizations organized mass propaganda among union members, in hamlets and residential areas in various forms. Propaganda contents were about the ideology, ethics, lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh as well as implementation results of Directive 05-CT/TW; Introduced good examples of individuals, collectives in learning and following Uncle Ho; at the same time criticized, rectified deviant perceptions, learning did not go with doing, making false statements, fighting against misconceptions, "peaceful evolution" conspiracy of hostile forces, especially on the ideological front, contributing to the stability of political thought and the belief in the Party's leadership, to maintain the unity within the Party, the consensus in society.

Creating and maintaining many good models

After 2 years, many good models appeared in the province. Follow Uncle. In addition to maintaining good models and creative ways of implementing the Politburo's Ordinance No. 03-CT / TW, Party committees, localities, agencies and units in the province clearly identified suitable breakthrough contents, especially President Ho Chi Minh’s lifestyle of being close to the people to renovate working attitude towards the people.

Thai Hong Son, Deputy Head of Thu Dau Mot city Party Commission for Propaganda and Training said that in 2017, implementing Directive No. 05 of the Politburo, the Party Committee identified administrative reform as breakthrough content. Over the initial implementation time there had been many positive changes. Cadres, civil servants and officials while performing their duties were gentle and polite when contacting people and abided by their agencies' regulations; Reforming of administrative procedures, shortening the time for solving administrative procedures, preservation and savings in the use of public assets.

Not only in TDM City, many localities, agencies and departments in the province maintained and created many good models, new ways of learning and following Ho Chi Minh ideology, lifestyle. For example, the model "Being near people, close to people" of Party Committee of Ben Cat town, Di An Town and Bau Bang, Northern Tan Uyen, Dau Tieng district; "Being near workers, close to workers, listening and sharing with workers of Dau Tieng Rubber Company and Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company. Or model "Friendly government of the people, by the people, for the people" and "Friendly government serving the people" of provincial People's Committee, "Party members attached to local households", “Mobilizing the people to contribute money to build rural roads" in Bau Bang district.

Le Huu Phuoc, Party Standing Member, Head of Provincial Party Committee for Propaganda and Training, said that good models and creative ways in some localities and units in the implementation of Directive No. 05 brought practical results, create wide spread in the community. The working style of cadres, civil servants and public employees has changed in a positive and serious way; spirit, attitude of serving the people, sense of responsibility in the performance of services is raised. There are more and more good examples of cadres, party members, and people of all strata.

It can be said that, after two implementation years of the Political Bureau's Directive No. 05-CT/TW on promoting the study and following ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh, Party committees and organizations in the province focused on leadership, directing the implementation seriously, closely and achieving many good results. Studying and following Uncle Ho has become a regular job, self-conscious in all activities of branches, localities, agencies, units with many exemplary cadres, party members and people in studying and following Uncle Ho, thereby contributing to successfully implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security.
