Agencies, organizations and localities gather to celeberate Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

On the afternoon of June 18, Ben Cat city’s Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee organized a get-together to mark the 99th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024). The get-together was attended by leaders of the city, leaders of some press agencies and journalists in and out of the province.

During the get-together, Bui Minh Thanh, Secretary of Ben Cat city’s Party Committee delivered a speech recalling the 99-year tradition of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day. He affirmed that the Party Committee and government of Ben Cat city always create favorable conditions for press agencies and journalists to operate. Over the past time, press agencies and journalists have closely followed the Party's direction, grasped practicalities and successfully fulfilled their assigned tasks, deeply propagandizing the Party's resolutions, the State’s policies, laws into daily life... On this occasion, leaders of the city also shared information on the local socio-economic situation, Party and political system building efforts during the first six months of 2024, along with key tasks for the near future, with journalists.

*On the same afternoon, provincial Military Command organized a get-together with press agencies and collaborators on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day while evaluating the results of coordination in propaganda between provincial Military Command and press agencies over the past time. Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan, Political Commissar of provincial Military Command chaired the get-together.

Addressing at the get-together, Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan expressed his desire that for continued cohesion, support, timely and extensive reporting from media agencies both within and outside the province in furthering local military and defense activities. On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command awarded certificates of merit to 7 collectives and 14 individuals who made outstanding contributions to coordination in propaganda activities of the local armed forces.

*Also on the afternoon of June 18, provincial Veterans' Association held a training conference for collaborators and a get-together for media agencies and collaborators of provincial Veterans' Newsletter on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day. Major General Tran Huu Tai, Chairman of provincial Veterans' Association thanked leaders of press agencies, journalists and collaborators for their efforts in opportunely propagandizing the activities of the Veterans' Association within the province. On this occasion, provincial Veterans' Association commended 2 collectives and 13 individuals for their excellent performance in propaganda work about the activities of provincial Veterans' Associations at all levels.
