Agendas of upcoming 10th People’s Council meetings comprehensively prepared

On the morning of May 16, the Standing Committee of Binh Duong provincial People's Council of the 10^th term (2021-2026 tenure), in coordination with the provincial People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, held a joint conference to unify the content, program, and schedule for organizing specialized sessions, regular sessions in mid-2024, and conducting voter outreach as prescribed. Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Committee Member of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council, Mrs. Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presided over the conference.

The report of the Office of the provincial People's Council and People's Committee Delegation stated that at the specialized session in 2024, the provincial People's Council would consider 7 proposals and draft resolutions. At the regular session in mid-2024, the provincial People's Council will consider 24 reports, 1 announcement, 5 inspection reports, 15 proposals, and 16 draft resolutions. The voter contact session is scheduled to take place from June 10 to 14.

At the conference, the delegates basically agreed with the report content of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the provincial People's Council; at the same time, they contributed additional opinions related to some contents of draft resolutions, voter contact programs. Mr. Vo Van Minh proposed that the departments and agencies continue to coordinate with the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the provincial People's Council to supplement and complete the draft resolution contents to be submitted at the upcoming provincial People's Council session.

In conclusion of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc proposed the Standing Committee of the provincial People's Council to coordinate with the Standing Committee of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front to organize for the delegates of the provincial People's Council to contact voters before the session to fully record, collect opinions, and recommendations of the voters; the provincial People's Committee directs the departments and branches to prepare seriously, ensure procedures, according to the regulations of the contents serving the session, ensuring the agreed time at the conference. He also requested that the assigned agencies prepare the content and serve the meeting closely, timely, on schedule, ensuring the organization of the provincial People's Council meeting to achieve high quality.
