Agricultural product prices rise slightly

In early Aug, according to surveys, prices of some foodstuffs at provincial markets have risen slightly compared to the previous month. At markets, like Lai Thieu, Di An, Thu Dau Mot, prices of vegetables, fresh fruits increased VND1,000-3,000/kg. According to traders at TDM market, price increase caused by heavy rain and flooding affecting vegetables harvesting and transporting.

Currently, prices of rice sold at TDM market rose averagely VND500/kg. Fresh pork, freshwater fish, beef, chicken prices at markets have not changed.
