Agriculture production value per hectare rises up to VND90mln on average

Update: 11-03-2014 | 00:00:00

This was the newest report by provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. During the 2012 and 2013 period, the local agricultural sector reached an annual growth of 4%. Its proportion accounted for 3.8% of the province’s economic structure with the average production value of VND90mln per hectare.

The local agricultural sector’s economic structure continued shifting towards goods production with high value and efficiency. Perennial tree and concentrated animal husbandry continued being a strong point of the local agricultural sector.

The province also attached special importance to agricultural trade promotion with many training courses on sales communication skills, seminars and trade fairs organized over the past time. Noticeably, the local farmers actively responded to models on urban and hi-tech based agriculture.

With the above results, it is believed that Binh Duong’s agricultural production value will continue reach a high growth in the coming time.
