AI - A trend to support e-commerce businesses

Digital economy and digital transformation are inevitable trends of the 4.0 revolution. In which, artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly developing and strongly influencing many fields. Current prominent trends include Generative AI that generates content such as text, images, videos, reports, statistics, and operates automatically.

In order to meet the Government's general goal of the National Strategy for Digital Economy and Digital Society Development to 2025, with a vision to 2030, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province issued Decision No. 3297/QD-UBND dated December 7, 2022 on the Digital Transformation Plan for the Industry and Trade sector for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Namely, the goal is to "Apply information technology to serve management and operations, serving people and businesses in the best way." Strengthening the application of business models in the online environment, helping businesses have more space and location as well as connecting businesses to directly promote manufactured products to consumers, increasing revenue and profits for businesses.

On the morning of September 25, 2024, at Binh Duong Provincial Center for Community Initiatives and Startup Support, an opening ceremony of a training course titled "E-commerce trading skills for businesses" took place, held by the Provincial Center for Trade Promotion and Industrial Development. The training lasted three days from September 25 to September 27, 2024.

After three days of the training program, a total of 125 trainees from 41 businesses in the province participated. Enterprises attending the training operate in a variety of industries and products such as: bamboo and rattan weaving, construction, public cleaning tools, bird's nest, melons...

Attending and delivering the opening speech, Mr. Truong Thanh Nhan, Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Trade Promotion and Industrial Development, expressed his hope that through the training course, trainees would have the opportunity to access more technology, improve their ability to build business strategies and manage online commercial business activities. Through this, students can incorporate technology into their business strategies according to each industry, helping to manage online commercial activities more conveniently in promoting products to customers, increasing revenue for the business.

The training program is designed to help students grasp advanced technology trends, thereby optimizing marketing and sales activities. The program focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) application solutions and practical sales techniques on the Tiktok platform.

Mr. Nguyen Thang Long, a Social commerce training expert, shares how to effectively create content, promote products to consumers, limit personnel costs as well as how to avoid wasting time for businesses through the application of AI technology to create text, images, and videos in a professional, fun way to attract viewers. Mr. Dinh Duy Linh - Director of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology 2, and Ms. Le Li - AI training expert Generative AI Educator, shared with students how to handle work quickly by applying AI to business on online platforms.

In addition, students listened to Mr. Ma Van Long, CEO of ShopNow Technology Joint Stock Company, giving detailed instructions on how to do online business on the TikTok platform with many new perspectives on social commerce, brief news about the current e-commerce market and TikTok, as well as things businesses should not do when doing business on the TikTok platform. More specifically, businesses are shared how to effectively manage finances when doing business on online platforms.

Therefore, the application of AI technology in production and business activities helps enterprises reduce a lot of costs, from training sales teams, marketing, etc. In addition, the application of AI technology to online business platforms helps promote extremely effectively not only for commercial and service enterprises but also for manufacturing enterprises and helps them have many opportunities to promote products and brands to consumers.

After completing the training course, students were proficient in creating text, images, songs and videos by applying E-Commerce techniques and AI technology. Students had the opportunity to practice directly, thereby mastering how to use AI applications to create unique content.

In particular, students will also experience and deploy chatbots for their own business website, helping to improve customer service efficiency and optimize online business processes. The course provides students with practical skills and useful tools to apply to their business operations.
