"AI for people" pilot movement launched

Early June 11, provincial Department of Information and Communications organized a ceremony to launch the "AI for people" pilot movement.

Over 60 delegates from provincial departments, agencies, Thu Dau Mot University and telecommunications enterprises in the province attended the main venue. Additionally, 140 delegates from district to commune levels participated in the event online.

The first session, lasting 90 minutes, covered the topic of "Overview of Modern Artificial Intelligence". The program will be conducted online with nine sessions, every Wednesday evening, from June 20 to August 14, 2024.

According to the program's organizers, artificial intelligence (AI) is a highly breakthrough technology. "AI for people" can be understood as a voluntary learning program for all citizens, inheriting and promoting the "Binh Dan Hoc Vu" (Mass Education) movement initiated by our Party and State in 1945.
