Update: 07-12-2022 | 17:41:13

Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment has reported that the technical monitoring results of air and water quality at stations in the province show that the quality of these two resources in November 2022 remained in stable level.

Accordingly, the air monitoring results in November 2022 showed concentrations of 15/17 observed parameters (dust PM10, CO, NO2, SO2, O3, lead dust, xylene, toluene...) at most important monitoring points met QCVN 05:2013/BTNMT and QCVN 06:2019/BTNMT standards. Meanwhile, monitoring and evaluation results of water quality in November 2022 for rivers and canals in the province also recorded that surface water quality in rivers and canals is tending to be improved and more stable than before. Specifically, the surface water quality monitoring results at monitoring points on the Saigon River in the past month tended to increase compared to the same period last year; Dong Nai River water quality is also maintained at a stable level.

According to leaders of Department of Natural Resources and Environment, most analytical criteria met the national technical standards on surface water quality (QCVN 08-MT: 2015/BTNMT). However, the nutritional and organic parameters, such as NH4 +-N, COD in some canals and small streams, still exceeded the standards due to the receipt of domestic wastewater from residential areas and waste water from industrial zones, agricultural wastewater...
