All 12 communes and townships of Dau Tieng district nationally qualified for medical standards

In the past time, Dau Tieng district has made efforts to implement measures to build 12 communes and townships to meet the national set of commune health criteria. As a result, up to now, 100% of communes and townships in the district have met the national standards for commune health. Accordingly, all commune health stations have relatively complete medical equipment.

The quality of medical examination and treatment and primary health care for the people has been improved. Elderly people in communes and townships have been given a health check once a year and have separate monitoring books for people over 80 years old. The health stations have enough essential medicines for routine medical examination and treatment. In particular, health programs have been fully and effectively implemented. School healthcare is concerned as students are examined once a year. Children under 5 years old are weighed periodically; pregnant women examined 3 times in each stage of their pregnancy.
