All health stations have doctors, midwives

Early July 6, provincial Health Department forwarded a conference to partially sum up its activities in the first half of 2012 and adjust targets for the rest of the year.

The whole province now has 7,239 health workers; 100% of health stations with doctors and midwives and 100% of quarters and hamlets with health workers. In the first half of the year, no epidemic diseases were reported in the province.  The province also provided medical check-ups and treatment by modern and traditional methods for 458,716 turns of people.

There were also 1.1 mln people with health insurance, a year-on-year increase of 14.23%. The province’s total payment for examination and treatment by health insurance during the period was estimated at VND227bln…
