All-level trade unions practise caring and right protection for working people

On the afternoon of June 20, the inspection and supervision delegation of the Vietnam General Trade Union, led by Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Trade Union, conducted an inspection and supervision session in Binh Duong province to evaluate the results of implementing Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Renewing the organization and activities of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation". Participating in the event were Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan, Standing Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Board, and leaders of departments, committees, sectors, and businesses in the province.

In the past 3 years, based on closely following the targets and tasks of Resolution 02 of the Politburo, the activities of trade unions at all levels in the province have undergone many innovations, focusing more on grassroots level, concentrating on representative tasks, taking care of and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, improving the quality and efficiency of daily operations, with emphasis on taking care of trade union members and workers.

Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu highly appreciated the results of implementing Resolution 02 in Binh Duong. At the same time, he requests that all levels of trade unions in the province focus on propaganda, develop grassroots trade unions, trade union members, and develop the Party among workers, diversify forms of propaganda to enhance awareness and political courage, class consciousness, national pride, and ethnic self-esteem of the Vietnamese working class.
