All out readiness for entrance exams in Binh Duong Province

The upcoming university and college entrance examinations in 2013 are all readied at 3 universities of Thu Dau Mot University, Binh Duong University, and Binh Duong Economics and Technology University under the universalized regulations of Ministry of Education and Training. This year, the event eyed 11,000 profiles of candidates to the major examinations to be organized at junior and senior high schools in the province. 
Binh Duong University Academic registrars are guiding candidates to complete the profiles for the upcoming entrance examinationsLocal preference is increasing as reported by Department of Education and Training. “Majority of the candidates choose local universities and colleges to save cost. The candidates registered to Thu Dau Mot University doubled last year’s number to 10,300 candidates, showing their interest in local universities and colleges which have been improved in quality as high as major universities and colleges of the nation,” said Mr. Dang Thanh Sang, Deputy Director of Department of Education and Training. “By now, all preparation has accomplished in terms of facilities and paper work,” said Ph.D Ngo Hong Diep, the Academic Dean of Thu Dau Mot University.Binh Duong Economics and Technology University is now more experienced with its 3rd year of entrance examination while Binh Duong University has been well-prepared for its first year of the same.In those days, members of Thu Dau Mot University Youth’s League are rushing for free accommodation offering to candidates as part of supportive acitivities to encourage university entrance examinations.Accordingly, the volunteers shall be stationed at 6 locations of entrance examinations in the first stage and 8 others in the second stage together with stations at office of Thu Dau Mot University Youth’s League and transportation stations where the candidates may pass by.“It is expected that we shall kick off the supportive program this July 1. By now, we can offer up to 1,000 addresses and phone numbers for free accommodation during the entrance examinations as kind-hearted actions of local people,” said Mr. Le Van Hai, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot University Youth’s League.The same program shall also initiated by Binh Duong Economics and Technology University and Binh Duong University to offer free accommodation and support to the candidates. As for Binh Duong University, a hot-line was also established to support the candidates.So as to ensure safe entrance examinations, Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee just demanded departments and sectors to support universities and colleges in term of well-organization of entrance examinations.“We are looking forwards to support by other agencies to ensure safety and good organization of the upcoming entrance examinations,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Hiep, the President of Thu Dau Mot University.Reported by Ngoc Thanh – Hong Thai – Translated by Vi Bao
