An agricultural land before election

Tan Uyen district’s Hieu Liem commune, a remote locality, has been in a lively ambience to welcome the 13th NA and the 2011-2016 term provincial People’s Council elections.

Hieu Liem commune’s voters learn about candidates’ action plans.

From early morning, local radio stations broadcast contents of election law whilst members of the communal Information and Culture Board arrive at remote paddy fields where farmers are working to promulgate on the upmy family’s farming work but we will go to the vote to select the most excellent candidates’.

The entire commune has 5 election units and polling stations. Lists of voters have been completed with 1,430 voters in total.

Nguyen Van Huy, the communal chairman, said “Hieu Liem commune is ready for the upcoming election with the most determination. The local authority also launched sanitation campaigns and mobilized voters to go to the poll.
