Efficiency of economy Based on instruction of local people, we arrive at Mrs.Nhanh's house where is considered as the first garden house in Phu An commune that sells fruits for tourists and reaches economic efficiency as well as gathers local countryside cultural characters. According to Mrs.Nhanh, 20 years ago, her husband passed away and she had to bring up 3 children by her own. After that, she left her homeland - Tien Giang province - to seek a new life in Phu An. In the first days of new living, her life was very difficult. She had to work at rice growing farms to earn money for buying nurslings. At that time, she planted a longan garden but this kind of fruit did not improve her family's life. And, she started growing rambutan, mango, jackfruit and so on. "In the first harvest crops, fruit traders bought my fruits with a very cheap price, so my life remained difficult. On a day, many workers working near my house visited my fruit garden to ask for buying fruits, so I allowed them to pick fruits on collecting tickets. After that, I realized efficiency from the way", shared Nhanh. At present, visitors pick her fruits and pay only VND11,000 per kg for mango, VND15,000/kg for rambutan. Nhanh added that over the past 4 years, she reaps about VND20mil per crop from selling fruits for tourists. On weekend, she enjoys about VND1mil, on April 30 and May Day alone she collects VND5mil. Waking up potentials Aside from selling fruits, Nhanh's fruit garden creates more healthy entertainment address for young people on holidays and weekends. Mrs.Nhanh shared "On weekends, especially holidays, numerous workers and young people and tourists from HCMC, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc and so on visit my fruit garden". Nguyen Ha Quang from Cu Chi district of HCMC said "I often visit Nhanh's fruit garden. Model of selling fruits right at garden for tourists not only creates an interesting playground for youths but eases stress for them". In addition, tourists enjoy instant noodle bowls and ice tea glasses free of charge. Thanks to enthusiasm, friendliness, Nhanh's fruit garden attracts more and more tourists. Possibly speaking, the model brings a great result, contributing to wake up potentials of local eco-tourism. Along with developing fruit orchards, the model should be invested and developed methodically.                                                                                                                  Reported by P.An - Translated by A.C
