Although it has just been established, Online policy counseling team made strong impressions on businesses and has become an important bridge helping businesses to implements well laws and regulations. Signing of cooperation and sharing information between Customs and Korean enterprises Perform well manifesto of customer service To implement Vietnam Customs’ manifesto of customer service “Professional – Transparent – Effective”, since 2007, Binh Duong Customs has opened its own website. Apart from administration group of 7 officials, the website is also managed by Deputy Director, who receives distance declarations and updates related documents to answer enterprises’ questions. Additionally, BD Customs Department organized trainings in order for officials to operate directly the website. In 2008, the Department issued guiding documents to respond to questions on website and established Board of web editors including 7 permanent members and 18 collaborators. Since 2009, Web editor board has written many quality articles, updated a lot of information serving information need of enterprises. The website was added English version in 2010 and Chinese version in 2013 in order to serve distance investors. Up to now, the website has updated over 9,000 news articles, 1,000 Vietnamese and English documents in terms of export-import and customs management affairs. Besides, Web editors created many practical categories attracting a great number of businesses, declarants and customs officers, such as Customs accompanies with enterprises, Vietnam Customs, From gate to gate, International customs news, 113 news, Questions & Answers, some utilities to look up tariffs, tax debt etc. Advantages of BD Customs are quickly information updating, diverse and abundant information. After 5 years, the website has reached 5.8 mln hits, is at 2nd rank regarding to customer satisfaction compared to the whole sector’s website system, and was announced at the national workshop on Customs – Enterprises partnership development plan by General Directorate of Customs. Support of business community A recent survey conducted by provincial customs showed: “Over 85% of surveyed businesses have chosen BD customs website as a tool to search customs documents, policies”. This means, the website is really helpful to the business community. In 2010, BD Customs Department was honorably selected as the only local customs department among 33 customs departments conferred credit of laws propaganda, dissemination by Ministry of Finance. Notably, in 2013, online counseling team of the website advised leaders to sign cooperation program with Korean investing business association in Binh Duong, Binh Duong import-export enterprise club. Accordingly, online counseling team will send weekly new documents and prioritize answering questions of members of these two associations. Head o Binh Duong import-export enterprise club Mr. Pham Van Xo excitedly said: “Previously, 90% of sent declarations, applications for C/O were returned because of mistakes. Now, we have opposite results. Over 95% declarations, C/O applications are accepted because of its right forms, regulation compliance… “During the first 6 months of 2013, policy counseling team of provincial customs shared more than 4,000 documents with our club, every week has averagely 20 documents helping businesses to update information. We expect this can be promoted and spread”.
