The province is now home to 743 concentrated breeding facilities, including 184 with sci-tech application. And there are also nearly 32,320 breeding households.
According to Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Head of provincial Animal Health Sub-department, the local animal husbandry sector is attaching special importance to developing concentrated breeding models. In the coming time, animal husbandry will continue being developed into a main element in the local agricultural sector and its value till 2020 will account for 40% of the sector’s total value. The province will also associate animal husbandry with environmental protection.
