Army Corps 4’s Infantry division 7 celebrates 45th anniversary of its establishment

 

Battalion 28 receives the title of People’s Armed Hero.

Army Corps 4’s Infantry division 7 party committee just held the 45th anniversary of its establishment (June 13, 1966-2011) and received the title of People’s Armed Hero.

Founded on June 13, 1966 at Phuoc Long battlefield, Infantry division 7 is one of key units of the Southern High Command. Over the years, the Infantry division 7 was awarded the title of People’s Armed Hero for two times.

The provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung affirmed that the infantry’s soldiers and officials have had close relations to local authority and people and contributed to local common development and mobilized local residents to excel the Party and State’s policies as well as excelled its national defense and military task.
