Studying, following Uncle Ho

One of the key tasks of Youth Union at all levels is to regularly implement, innovate, and improve the effectiveness of contents and forms of studying and following Uncle Ho, associated with the implementation of political tasks and resolving outstanding matters of the unit. As carrying out that task and aiming to welcome the 8th Provincial Congress of Vietnam Youth Federation the 2024-2029 tenure, Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Federation of Bac Tan Uyen district has organized the journey "Continuing the tradition - Stepping into the future" and activities of the District Youth Theory Club. Participating in the journey, delegation officials at district, commune, and town levels visited the historical and cultural relic of Duc Thanh school and Ho Chi Minh Museum in Binh Thuan province. The group journeyed to learn about the history of the monument, offer incense, and express their love and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh. At this sacred moment before Uncle Ho's heroic spirit, each youth member's heart was filled with emotion, and their spirit was raised to study and work harder.

Do Ngoc Loi, Youth Union Secretary of Bac Tan Uyen District, said: “During this journey, the District Youth Union also organized activities for the District Youth Theory Club, namely watching documentaries about Uncle Ho's life and great revolutionary career, exchanging and learning new things with the theme "Visit the old school, remember Uncle Ho", "Uncle Ho with young people".  District Youth Union officials discussed the current situation and evaluated educational propaganda activities at the Youth Union facilities in the first 6 months of the year. Then Youth Union officials discussed and proposed solutions to disseminate union branch activity documents; called on youth members to raise awareness, demonstrate responsibility in effectively using social networks and actively propagate among youth members.

Propaganda and education about Uncle Ho's ideology, ethics, and style are directed by the Provincial Youth Union at all levels to continue to discover, foster, and replicate effective models and methods among Youth Unions. Every year, all levels of Youth Union ensure good implementation and study of topics on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; at the same time, well implement the campaign "Building a role model for Vietnamese youth in the new era" and commend progressive youth examples who follow Uncle Ho's teachings at all levels...

Follow in footsteps of heroes

Celebrating the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), the Provincial Youth Volunteer Club organized a historical journey "Following the footsteps of heroes" at Historical Relic Area Minh Dam Mountain in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. At this relic site, members of the club offered incense to express gratitude to heroic martyrs and learned about revolutionary history. In addition, the club organized training and tests on skills related to the work of the Vietnam Youth Union to create solidarity, dynamism, and enthusiasm among club members. The journey "Follow the Hero's Footsteps" has many meanings, and it gives club members the opportunity to understand and deeply experience the heroic history of their ancestors.

Le Tuan Anh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said that programs organized by the Youth Union at all levels to return to revolutionary relics, remember the merits of heroic martyrs, and learn about revolutionary historical relics, educate young people on the will and spirit to overcome difficulties, strive to improve themselves, and devote their youth to building the homeland. Currently, the Youth Union at all levels is diversifying and applying digital technology in historical and traditional education, organizing forums, seminars, revolutionary song festivals, watching historical films, exhibitions, and competitions, and contributing to fostering love for the fatherland among young people.

In the work of educating revolutionary historical traditions, all levels of Youth Union focus on systematic, synchronous and widespread political programs and activities. In addition, programs and trips to historical sites, gratitude activities, restoration, and promotion of the value of historical relics and cultural relics are regularly carried out.
