Asian leaders cheer Vietnam on National Day

Leaders of Party, State, Government and National Assembly of Vietnam received congratulatory messages from Asian leaders on the country’s 66th National Day (September 02, 1945 - September 02, 2011).

Messages came from General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People’s Republic of China Hu Jin Tao; Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China Wu Bang Guo; Premier of the People’s Republic of China Wen Jia Bao; General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Chummaly Sayasone; Lao Prime Minister Thoongsinh Thammavong and Chairwoman of the Lao National Assembly Pani Yathotou.

On the occasion, Vietnam’s leaders were congratulated by the King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni; Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen; Chairman of Cambodian National Assembly Heng Samrin; Singaporean President Tony Tan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Prime Minister of Thailand Yingluck Shinawatra.
