Athletes to be sent off for 26th SEA Games

This was announced at a press briefing held in Hanoi on October 20 by the General Department for Sports and Physical Training. 

The region’s biggest sporting event will be hosted by Indonesia from November 11-22. It attracts the most outstanding athletes from 11 Southeast Asian countries, who will compete in 42 events.

Vietnam’s 857-member sport delegation includes 602 athletes who will compete in 37 events with the aim of winning at least 70 gold medals and standing among top places in the medal tally.
