The record shows that investing in an automatic water spraying system is quite expensive, about 100 million VND/ha, but it brings high efficiency and can be used for over 10 years. Especially, when using the automatic spraying system, you only need to turn on the electric switch for the motor to run, then check the water pipe system and you can irrigate a large area at any time and adjust the irrigation level as desired, depending on the type of crops and the design of the planting area, the height of the spray tube and the number of installed spray nozzles may vary, increase, decrease, be high or low on a cultivated land area.

Mr. Le Quoc Hai, Director of the Clean Vegetable Cooperative Family (Dinh Hoa Ward, Thu Dau Mot City), said that the cooperative has invested in high-tech equipment and applied water-saving methods so that cooperative members do not have to spend effort digging water channels. At the same time, the amount of water for irrigation is adjusted according to the needs of each type of crop, resulting in significant water savings. In addition, the application of this irrigation method can mix easily soluble fertilizers such as nitrogen, potassium or water-soluble fertilizers etc. through a mixing tank attached to the main control valve. As a result, fertilizers are mixed into the irrigation water, allowing plants to absorb them better, resulting in higher productivity and economic efficiency compared to traditional irrigation methods.

High efficiency

Mr. Hai added that the use of an automatic rain spray irrigation system ensures even water distribution, automates control processes, and facilitates operation. This system provides plants with sufficient water for growth and development. In particular, the automatic spray irrigation system ensures more even water penetration, saving water and electricity. For example, with 6,000 square meters of land for growing various types of vegetables, using this system, the irrigation time is about 10 minutes, and the water seeps evenly into the roots and stems of the plants. Compared to before when using water pipes for irrigation, it used to take half a day. The use of automatic water spraying system also helps save electricity compared to previous water pipe irrigation methods.

It can be seen that the widespread application of science and technology in agricultural production in localities within the province has brought practical efficiency, not only helping people and agricultural businesses save costs, but also contributing to ensuring energy security and promoting socio-economic development.

Currently, many farms, cooperatives, collective groups, and farmers in the province are applying the automatic spraying model, which not only brings high economic efficiency but also helps overcome the shortage of labor in rural areas. The application of this model also gradually introduces automation and mechanization into production, saving costs, reducing production costs, and enhancing the competitiveness of agricultural products from Binh Duong on the market.
