Auxiliary industrial development – a right way

Over the past years, the provincial auxiliary industry has been in good development, helping local industrial sector develop rapidly with an average growth of 20%/year. To keep developing the auxiliary industry, Binh Duong has set out many measures to improve efficiency.

Korea’s DJV Company in My Phuoc 3 IP is a manufacturer of Led screen and automobile components for big groups throughout the world. With only 65 technical workers, the company’s export annually wins over US$12mil. Meanwhile, Japan’s Yazaki Company, a producer of automobile components has reached high results in production and business.

Not only producing products for automobile industry, the provincial auxiliary industry has been paid attention by many businesses. Vietnam Seibi Semiconductor Company, a producer of IC chip at Vietnam-Singapore 2 IP has annually won export value of tens of millions of dollars.

To cater for beverage industry, TBC Ball Beverage Can Vietnam Company invested US$50mil to build a canned beverage plant in Vietnam with a capacity of 850mil cans per year.

Not only foreign businesses paying attention to auxiliary industry, many local enterprises have realized importance of the industry. Notably, Thai Binh Shoes Group has paid attention to auxiliary industry of manufacturing shoe mould and sole in serve for its production.

In terms of motorbike component, Minh Sang Trade-Service Company in 2008 opened a motorbike component plant at Song Than 3 IP with a capacity of 300,000 items per year.

Improving shortcomings

Development of auxiliary industry is very important to create a high industrial production value and to lure investment in hi-tech fields. According to the local department of Trade and Industry, the provincial auxiliary industry has been under strong development of production value, turnover and played a crucial role in local processing industry.

Specifically, the province has formed up material production sectors in serve for areas of garment, textile, footwear, electronics… Thanks to development of auxiliary industry, the local rate of product domesticization wins 10-40%.

However, the industry remains shortcomings. To improve the status, the province has set out measures to give priority for development of auxiliary industry in depth and width, to urge economic sectors to invest in the industry, pay attention to manpower and so on.

With the measures, it is sure that the industry will develop in a right way, contributing to local industrial development rapidly and sustainably.
