Awareness goes up, crime goes down

Traffic collisions, sexual conflicts, or a look, a word "dissatisfied with each other" ... can all lead to criminal cases, even serious crimes if the involved parties do not have enough knowledge, certain understanding of the law. The reality of criminal cases stemming from "small" causes in today's life has rung the alarm bells for the above-mentioned problem.

The celebration of Vietnam Law Day (November 9) this year also coincides with the 10th anniversary of the enforcement of the Law on law Dissemination and education. After the time of the implementation of the Law on Law Dissemination and Education, the whole country in general, Binh Duong in particular, along with a series of activities towards the annual Vietnam Law Day, have brought practical effects in the perception and action of each citizen.

Especially, for Binh Duong, an area that has attracted a large number of immigrant workers throughout the country, serving the cause of economic development at high speed over the past years, law dissemination among the people, especially workers, needs to receive more attention. For many years, there were many cases of law violations among workers, especially in areas having lots of lodging facilities. There are many reasons that lead to the situation of "hot heads" breaking the law, even causing serious crimes, but in general, there is still a lack of legal understanding, thereby disregarding the law,  the health and life of others.

Law dissemination is considered as an important solution to raise awareness of the law that for many years, functional units, departments and socio-political organizations in the province have focused on implementing. In addition to organizing meetings or integrating responses through conferences, seminars and talkshows, law dissemination has also been enhanced on the mass media, social networks, etc. Propaganda contents got more and more realistic, being easy to understand and vivid so that participants can easily grasp, raise awareness and properly implement towards a safer and better life.

Raising awareness in any fields also needs to have a process. Law dissemination, raising public awareness of the law is only really effective when each unit, department, mass organization and the whole people work together.
