Bac Tan Uyen district in dialogue for removal of obstacles tangling business production and business operations

In order to successfully achieve the socio-economic development targets in 2024, Bac Tan Uyen district recently organized a conference to meet, absorb, and address difficulties and obstacles for businesses engaged in production and business activities in the area.

Plenty obstacles to be resolved

The dialogue conference has received many opinions and suggestions from businesses related to key issues such as employment, land, road transportation, administrative violation handling, etc. In addition, there are issues related to capital support policies, tax policies, fire prevention and fighting, compensation for land clearance.

At the conference, the representative of Nha Nai Rubber Farm proposed that the district should support the introduction of recruitment of non-local labor. The representative of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the district requested the farm to send a recruitment notice in writing to timely connect with functional units providing employment services in the province.

Mr. Vo Minh Duc, General Director of Hong Duc Production and Logistics Company (in Thuong Tan commune), raised concerns about the conversion of land use purposes for inland waterway operations. However, the land is located within the safety corridor of the waterway and road that the enterprise needs guidance on a solution. Tan Lap Real Estate Company in Tan Lap commune, proposed to adjust the land use planning from market land to commercial-service land in the Detailed Planning Project at 1/500 scale for Tan Lap Residential Area of convenient application in practice.

Also at the conference, Mrs. Le Thi Lien Huong, representative of Jiu Shun Packaging Company (Tan Lap commune), raised concerns about the DT746 route, from the residential area of Tan Lap to Tan Lap 26 and Tan Lap 25 roads, specifically on when the construction and installation of drainage pipes would be completed, and when the district would open the boundary road between the residential area of Tan Lap and Jiu Shun Company and install drainage pipes of Tan Lap 46, and what procedures Jiu Shun Company would need to follow to connect to the drainage system along Tan Lap 25 road.

Specific responses rapid

Before the opinions and suggestions of businesses, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Tan Uyen district, requested the leaders of relevant specialized departments to attend the conference to quickly answer and resolve. With a spirit of seeking, listening, understanding, one by one, the obstacles that have caused dissatisfaction for businesses have been fully and reasonably explained by the leaders and specialized officials.

Regarding the activities of the inland waterway terminal mentioned by Hong Duc Production and Transportation Co. Ltd., the representative of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Bac Tan Uyen district explained that according to regulations, the inland waterway terminal (cargo terminal and passenger terminal across the river) must be allocated land for transportation purposes. All projects implemented in the area must comply with the land use planning. Therefore, for inland waterway ports that are not in accordance with the approved planning, the investor must report to the competent authority for consideration of adjustment and supplementation to the planning according to the provisions of the law on planning. In addition, for this issue, the district has established an inspection team to review and assess the inland waterway ports to ensure environmental protection, meet the local needs, propose to the provincial People's Committee, and create favorable conditions for the maintenance and operation of the inland waterway ports in the district, contributing to the local socio-economic development.

Regarding the opinions on the planning of Tan Lap Real Estate Company, after the basic functional departments have provided clear and detailed answers, Mr. Tran Van Thuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Tan Uyen district, also added that the adjustment of planning or land must comply with the planning and guidelines. However, the district will also make recommendations to the province and functional departments to facilitate businesses.

Regarding the querry of Jiu Shun Packaging Co., Ltd. on environmental issues, Mr. Tran Van Thuan stated that this is a field related to the regulations of the law on wastewater treatment. In order to protect water sources and the environment around the factory area of ​​enterprises, the Environmental Protection Law has some new provisions. The current difficulties of the enterprises are recorded by the district, handed over to specialized agencies for collection, and will have recommendations to the province and functional departments for timely handling in the future.
