Bac Tan Uyen district in emulations of excellent business

On the afternoon of July 4th, the Veterans Association of Bac Tan Uyen district organized the exemplary veterans competition congress for the period of 2019-2024.

5 years ago, the officials and members of the veteran association in Bac Tan Uyen district actively responded to the movement of "exemplary veteran" launched by the central association. In addition to focusing on building key personnel, in recent times, the veteran associations at all levels in the district have regularly mobilized, coordinated, and trained members to visit models and guide members who are able to take the lead in transforming the structure of crops and livestock. The district's veteran association has implemented many models, such as "Mutual support fund for poverty reduction and economic development" with a total fund of over VND 3 billion; the "5+1" model with the spirit of comrades helping each other in family economic development without interest; the "Supporting students to go to school" model.

At the congress, Major General Tran Huu Tai, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Veterans, proposed that in the coming time, the associations at all levels need to regularly care for and encourage officials and members; unite to help each other develop the economy and sustainably reduce poverty. In addition, the associations at all levels need to promote learning and following President Ho Chi Minh; actively participate in implementing Project 02 on building a cultural and civilized lifestyle; effectively implement the criteria of exemplary veteran members.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Tan Uyen district awarded certificates of merit to 11 collectives and 26 individuals with outstanding achievements in the exemplary veteran emulation movement in the period of 2019-2024.
