Towards the district meeting new rural standards

Nguyen Van Thuan – Deputy Chairman of Bac Tan Uyen district People's Committee, said that building a new countryside is an important political task, requiring the comprehensive leadership of the Party committees, local authorities and joint efforts as well as consents of the people. The district always pays attention to propaganda and construction campaign with many rich and diverse forms to help people understand their responsibilities, rights and obligations.

The construction of a new countryside has positively impacted on the lives of rural people by gradually changing the face of the countryside. Infrastructure works and village roads have been invested into and built spaciously, so people's lives have improved markedly. Up to now, 7 out of 8 communes have been recognized by the provincial People's Committee as meeting the newly enhanced rural standards.

To achieve the goal of becoming a district meeting new rural standards by 2025, Bac Tan Uyen district focuses on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management of the authority and mass organizations. At the same time, it continues to direct, review, maintain and improve the quality of criteria to improve and build a model new rural commune, to concentrate on well implementing the planning by closely linking the new rural planning with the district planning.

Directing the local socio-economic development should be focused on to improve the material and spiritual life of the people. At the same time, socialization should be on the improvement to mobilize people's power to implement rural roads and bridges; building cultural life, creating jobs, reducing poverty in order to create changes in all aspects in rural areas.
