Bamboo exhibition kicked off at Phu An Bamboo Village

An exhibition on pictures and scientific achievements about bamboo was kicked off at Phu An Ecological Bamboo Museum and Botanical Reserve, also known as the Phu An Bamboo Village on the morning of November 6.

The exhibition absorbed more than 120 delegates, including more than 20 scientists, artists and visitors from France’s Association of Artists on Depiction of Plants, France’s Paris Natural History Museum, South Korea, Holland, Vietnam…They were introduced about scientific achievements relating to bamboo such as the economic value of bamboo, the importance of bamboo in combating climate change and its adaptability to climate change.

At the exhibition, delegates and visitors had a chance to enjoy a collection on bamboo species, bamboo articles, plants-depicting pictures, Bac Ninh folk songs and local specificities…
