Bau Bang district responds to Environmental Action Month and Environment Day
Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, along with Fatherland Front Committees of Bau Bang District and Lai Uyen Town, organized a launching ceremony in support of the Month of Action for the Environment and World Environment Day, which is celebrated on June 5.
During the ceremony, Bau Bang District Fatherland Front Committee encouraged all cadres, civil servants, public employees, union and association members, as well as the general public, particularly in Lai Uyen Town, to actively participate in various movements and campaigns. These included initiatives such as “Civilized Saturday” and “Green Sunday,” promoting a green and environmentally friendly lifestyle. Participants were urged to change their consumer habits to reduce plastic waste, utilize resources sustainably and effectively, and link environmental protection to the creation of civilized lifestyles, model residential areas, and cultural families.

In response to Month of Action for the Environment and World Environment Day, from May 20 to June 5, 2025, Fatherland Front at all levels in the district mobilized individuals, union and association members, and member organizations to engage in practical activities, namely cleaning up the environment, planting trees, collecting and sorting waste, removing illegal billboards, and rejecting disposable plastic products.
During the launching ceremony of "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee in Lai Uyen Town, which coincided with Children's Day on June 1, 38 gifts were distributed to children facing hardships, with a total value of 19 million VND.
