Bau Bang District People’s Council convened the first session of the 2^nd term (2016-2021 tenure) to elect key positions of district People’s Council and People’s Committee

At this session, district leaders granted certificates to 30 elected deputies of People’s Council, introduced new personnel, select election methods and hold secret ballot of key positions of district People’s Council and People’s Committee. At the end, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of district Party Committee, was elected as Chairman of district People’s Council; Mr. Truong Van Tai, Deputy Head of district Party Organization Committee, and Ms. Vo Thi Kim Nghia, Head of district Party Mass Mobilization Committee, were elected as Vice Chairman and Vice Chairwoman of district People’s Council of the 2^nd term 2016-2021 tenure.

Mr. Le Khac Tri, Chairman of the 1^st district People’s Committee, was elected as Chairman of the 2^nd district People’s Committee; and Mr. Vo Thanh Giau, Mr. Le Thanh Tam, Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong were elected as Vice Chairman of district People’s Committee.

The session also approved Election Resolution, strengthened leadership positions of Legal Commission, Economic – Social Commission of district People’s Committee; elected 14 members of district People’s Committee and 25 members of district People’s Jury.
