Medical Center of Bau Bang District proactively proposed epidemic response plans in the new situation based on directing documents from the central to local government; in particular, focused on performing dual tasks to control epidemics and prevent the epidemic from spreading, ensure principles, detect, investigate, localize and suppress the epidemic; to live with coronavirus safely but absolutely not to be subjective; encourage positive social regulation.
Dr. Huynh Minh Chin, Deputy Director of Bau Bang District Medical Center, said the center recommended the district Steering Committee to purchase fully medical equipment, protective clothing, medical masks, and arrange personnel, provide training, and to organize rehearsal of response plans based on the local situation for doctors at the center, heads of health stations, and medical staff in communes and towns.
According to Vo Thanh Giau, People's Committee Chairman of Bau Bang District, right from the outbreak of Covid-19, the district Steering Committee identified the epidemic prevention as a long-term struggle, must live with coronavirus safely, while stimulating the economy, ensuring social security; hence, the primary task and solution in this period is to continue implementing directives of the Prime Minister and Provincial People's Committee. Namely, to perform well six principles: "To prevent, detect, isolate, zone, stamp out, and effectively treat".
To strictly manage cases coming from epidemic areas
In recent days, since the start of Covid-19 outbreak, many people had traveled and come from Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai to Binh Duong, increasing the spreading risk of Covid-19. Therefore, the control, prevention of the Covid-19 to people who come/return to Binh Duong from Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai is urgent.
In order to prevent the spreading in the community, anti-epidemic Steering Committee of the district has bolstered checking, verifying arrivals to Bau bang from Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai since 1st July 2020 to manage and consult epidemic prevention measures, namely, self-quarantine at home, and to check health conditions 2 times/day. Medical stations of communes, towns classify patients; prevent cross-contamination; check cases having respiratory infection symptoms, strictly carry out body temperature measurement, wear face masks and washing hands regularly, ensure the safety of medical personnel.
The district Medical Center in collaboration with police, military forces, People's Committees implement measures to strictly manage unauthorized entries through trails, open accesses to the district, perform radical medical quarantine; At the same time, to strengthen communication activities to heighten people's awareness of detecting undeclared entries to the district to timely inform the authorities.
According to Dr. Chin, for foreign laborers working in Bau Bang IP, Tan Binh IP and other enterprises in the district, the District Medical Center cooperates closely with provincial Disease Control Center to provide information about their schedules, organization of transportation, and implement radical medical quarantine measures.
Because of proactive implementation of many epidemic preventing and combating measures, as of August 9, Bau Bang District has not recorded any positive cases of Covid-19 infection. The district People's Committee directed related branches to monitor and organize quarantine for 125 cases coming to Bau Bang from infectious provinces and cities.
