Bau Bang has 7 products with 3-star OCOP rating

Bau Bang district is now home to 6 cooperative groups with initial investment capital of more than VND 2.7 billion and 13 cooperatives with charter capital of more than VND 63.7 billion. District-based cooperative groups and cooperatives mainly operate in the field of agriculture, with the main occupation being cultivation.

Under the “One Product One commune” (OCOP) program, up to now, the district has had 7 products with the 3-star OCOP rating. In addition, the district is currently developing a dossier to submit it to provincial OCOP Product Rating and Evaluation Council to recognize 11 3-star products. Through the OCOP program, the district’s typical and traditional products have effectively exploited their potential and advantages, thereby creating quality products in accordance with regulations, increasing competitiveness at the needs of the market.
