Bau Bang holds talk show with female resistance fighters

Early April 24, Bau Bang district’s Women's Union coordinated with the district’s Women's Resistance Association to organize a talk show with the local female resistance fighters under the theme of "A time to remember”.

At the program, delegates watched a documentary about the Dien Bien Phu Campaign; shared memories of the years working as guerrillas in the resistance war against the US imperialists to save the country.

On this occasion, the district’s Women's Union provided the association with VND 5 million as working budget and offered 48 gifts worth VND 100,000 each to officers and members of the association. The district’s Women's Union Standing Committee also awarded the certificates of merit to 3 outstanding collectives in implementing the local folk dance movement to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Earlier, the district’s Women's Union held an incense offering ceremony at the Bau Bang Victory monument.
