Bau Bang is home to 15 cooperatives, cooperative groups

In 2017, Bau Bang will further create favorable conditions for cooperatives and cooperative groups to work stably; honor outstanding cooperatives and cooperative groups and step by step replicate them.

The district will also deploy preferential policies for cooperatives under the Program on Supporting the development of cooperatives for the period of 2015-2020…

As of late 2016, the whole district had a total of 5 cooperatives with 37 members and total initial investment capital of VND21.7billion in the fields of agriculture, construction and transport. Their total revenue was estimated at more than VND8.2billion.

There were also 10 cooperative groups with 106 members and total initial investment capital of more than VND8billion. They now operate in the fields of animal husbandry, cultivation and production with total revenue last year estimated at more than VND17.1billion.
