Early August 29, Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission along with provincial delegation, had a working session with Bau Bang district’s Party Standing Committee regarding the implementation of political tasks during the first seven months of 2024 and preparations for Party congresses at all levels. Also attending the session was Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee.
An overview of the working session between provincial delegation and Bau Bang district’s Party Standing Committee
Reportedly, Bau Bang district’s Party Standing Committee focused on leading and directing the implementation of local political tasks, achieving many positive results in the first seven months of the year. The district’s industrial production value reached over VND 12.76 trillion, an increase of 17.6% compared to the same period of 2023.
The district attracted 22 newly-registered projects, including 2 domestic investment projects with total registered capital of VND42.834 billion and 20 FDI projects with total registered capital of US$56.8 million; 8 FDI projects registering to increase capital by US$ 73.578 million, bringing the total number of projects in the district to 1,495.
The district’s work of Party and political system building achieved many positive results. In the first seven months, the district admitted 109 out of 135 Party members (reaching 80.7% of the target). The district has so far established 8 non-State Party organizations under the Party Committees of communes and townships with 44 Party members (including 3 business owners). The district’s Party Standing Committee organized a conference to implement the Politburo’s Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024 while establishing subcommittees, working groups and assigned permanent agencies of the subcommittees to advise and assist the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the district’s Party Committee.
Addressing the session, Mr. Nhan requested Bau Bang district to focus on developing an urban upgrade plan and coordinate with provincial departments and agencies to resolve obstacles to meet urban upgrade criteria as prescribed. He also suggested the district to create favorable conditions to attract investment in healthcare and education, especially in socialized investment; develop human resources and promote digital transformation. Regarding preparations for Party congresses at all levels, he urged the district to well realize personnel preparation, ensuring the proportion of female and young cadres in the new Party Committee.
