Bau Bang district’s Division of Culture, Information and Sports has just organized the first festival for outstanding cultural and sports families.

The festival absorbed 13 outstanding families from 7 communes in the district. They experienced 4 test parts: sports, knowledge, art performance and cooking. Regarding knowledge, the festival focused on the Law against Family Violence, the Law on Gender Equality, the Law on Marriage-Family, skills in behavior, morality, lifestyle, how to organize a good life. For cooking part, each participating family used VND900,000 to cook a meal for 6 members…

Finally, the organizers awarded 23 first, second and third prizes to participating families with high achievements at the festival. The festival aimed to create an useful playground for the local families, helping them exchange and share experience in building up a better family life.
