Bau Bang’s Red Cross Society well realizes humanitarian movements

In 2018, Bau Bang district’s Red Cross Society and its branches well realized social charity activities, offering help to 20,109 people with a total value of more than VND5billion.

Particularly, under the movement of “Tet for the poor and Agent Orange victims”, they gave 5,099 gifts worth VND1.53billion for needy people. Implementing the campaign of “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address”, they mobilized 65 donors and enterprises to offer regular support of VND253 million to 145 disadvantaged people; gave unexpected support of VND796million for 5,485 cases; visited and presented gifts worth VND 90million to 671 members. They also provided 280 people with 2,800 kg of rice worth more than VND35million through the program of “Charity rice jar”…

The above-mentioned activities contributed to helping needy people surmount difficulties and rise up in life.
