Bau Bang tightens control over food-drink facilities

The People's Committee of Bau Bang district said that over the past time, the district directed relevant units to inspect the local food-drink establishments, aiming to ensure food hygiene and safety.

Accordingly, these units inspected 21 collective kitchens, canteens of companies outside the industrial parks, boarding schools and food-drink establishments in the district. As a result, there were 20 establishments reaching quality, accounting for 95.2% of total and 1 facility failing, accounting for 4.8% of total. These units advised the district’s People's Committee on issuing a decision on handling administrative violations, aiming to ensure food hygiene and safety, and protect consumers' health.
