Bau Bang wins four gold medals at 2016 provincial Taekwondo championship

The 2016 provincial Taekwondo championship has just concluded with impressive performances from 75 athletes across the province.

As a result, the organizers awarded 16 sets of medals to outstanding athletes in events: combat and demonstration. Bau Bang excellently grasped 4 medals in the demonstration events: men’s team, women’s team, men’s individual (Nguyen Thanh Nghia) and women’s individual (Tran Quoc Cam Dung).

The organizers also said that this year’s tournament absorbed many athletes. They brought the tournament spectacular combats and highly polished performances. This was seen as the local advance of Taekwondo, contributing to promoting this martial art.
