Be grateful to generations sacrificing for the national struggle and unification cause

On occasion of the 76th Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023), Dau Tieng Rubber One Member Company Limited (DRC) organized many activities to pay tribute to war invalids, martyrs, and Vietnam heroic mothers. These activities also show the determination of today's generations in the cause of national construction and defense.

 Reviving the tradition

July comes again, DRC has carried out many activities to educate the youth about revolutionary traditions, patriotism, national pride and responsibility in the current period. Activities ensure practicality, efficiency, avoid ostentatious, formal, create interest, support and coordination of local authorities at all levels, departments, branches, mass organizations, and individuals, attracting a large number of union members, the youth and people.

Propaganda activities on Invalids and Martyrs' Day, the tradition of "Repaying gratitude - Drinking water, remembering the source" integrated into the national history to build and defend the country, praising, honoring and grateful for the merits of revolutionary elders, heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroic martyrs... Thereby, arousing tradition, pride and national pride for today's generation in order to contribute more actively to the development of the company, the province as well as the cause of national construction and defense.

Through the activities, it has also contributed to propagating the young generation about the great achievements of the country's renovation, lessons learned in building and defending the revolutionary government, and building law-based Socialist Vietnam. From there, to help the young generation of the company to better see opportunities, advantages, difficulties and challenges of the country, to work hard, to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.

Paying tribute

Right from the first days of July, DRC has organized activities to repair, embellish, and clean steles, memorials, projects of gratitude, graves, martyrs' temples, and create clean and beautiful environmental landscapes at cemeteries, martyrs' monuments and historical and cultural relics... DRC also mobilized resources to ensure the organization of medical examination and treatment points, and distributes free medicines to policy families, centers for caring for and treating wounded and sick soldiers, lonely elderly people, and people having difficult circumstances in the area.

In a warm and sacred atmosphere, commemorating heroic martyrs and families with meritorious services to the revolution, on occasion of the 76th Invalids and Martyrs' Day, the 94th anniversary of Vietnam Trade Union 28 July, Ly Thien Nu, Chairman of the DRC Trade Union, and Executive Committee of the Trade Union visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Huan.

Mother Nguyen Thi Huan, born in 1933, has 10 children, of which 3 are martyrs who died in the resistance war against the US. Currently, the mother is staying with her 8th son in Dinh Hiep commune, Dau Tieng district. At her house, the delegation wished her good health, a happy life and set an example for the younger generations today. The delegation presented the mother an amount of 4 million VND including quarterly support and gratitude gifts on the occasion of July 27. It is known that the company has been taking care of the mother until the end of her life since 2016.

In addition, the company also organizes many delegations to visit, give gifts and support to people with meritorious services, policy families, former youth volunteers, wounded soldiers, etc., continue to take care of heroic Vietnamese mothers. In addition, this unit also actively mobilized resources, contributed working days to build and repair houses of gratitude and charity; civil projects serving the life and activities of policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, wounded and sick soldiers...; cooperated with Dau Tieng District Youth Union to organize “Candle lighting ceremony in gratitude to heroes and martyrs" on July 26, 2023.

DRC and its affiliated units also work closely with mass organizations and localities to check the situation of children of war invalids, sick soldiers, and disadvantaged policy families working at the company to provide practical timely support.  Along with that, organizing visits, sharing and encouraging employees to stick with long-term work, together with the company to perform well production tasks.

In addition, the company's Youth Union also simultaneously joined forces to respond to "Green Sunday" 2023 with specific activities: Volunteers cleaned up the environment; repaired, embellished and cleaned steles and memorials to martyrs, repaired works of attribution, graves of martyrs, temples; planted more trees, created a clean and beautiful environment at cemeteries, monuments...
