Be straightforward, responsible for issues voters care about

With straightforwardness and responsibility, addressing issues people, voters, businesses care about, the question-and-answer session at the 11th session of the 10th Provincial People's Council, took place on July 21. Through questions and answers, many existing problems were identified, many solutions as well as commitments of departments and branches’ leaders showed a sense of responsibility and straightforwardness about the issues concerned voters.

Groups of issues questioned and answered at the meeting were about solutions to support enterprises, remove difficulties in production, business and operation activities, improve the operation quality of Provincial Public Administration Center, and the information system to resolve administrative procedures in the province. These are two groups of issues directly and practically related to people and businesses’ daily activities. These are also the areas that provincial leaders always pay attention to and direct regularly and drastically.

Over the past time, the above-mentioned sectors have received attention of departments and localities in the province and many efforts were made to achieve remarkable results. For example, in operations of Provincial Public Administration Center, information system for handling administrative procedures has been appreciated by the Central ministries and branches, many localities have visited and learned from experience. To support businesses, remove their difficulties in the current context, provincial leaders have actively implemented many programs and solutions to both recover the economy after the pandemic and respond actively with the changing global geopolitical situation.

Along with creating a favorable environment, connecting labor supply and demand, helping workers find jobs, businesses have new orders, provincial leaders also organized investment promotion and foreign affairs activities to seek new opportunities for the province and businesses...

In addition to the achieved results, in fact, there are still some shortcomings due to many reasons that members of the People's Council questioned at the meeting. In the spirit of responsibility of heads of agencies and units, the atmosphere of questioning and answering questions showed a straightforward spirit. In addition to answering problems, leaders of departments and agencies also offered solutions to effectively deal with problems arising from practice.

In order to continue to innovate and improve the quality of supervision activities in general and questioning in particular, to better meet the requirements and aspirations of voters, the people and the business community, Chairman of Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Loc asked delegates and heads of branches to uphold their sense of responsibility and stick to reality; at the same time, continue to monitor the implementation of commitments of departments and units on the issues questioned, contributing to the more and more sustainable socio-economic development of the province.
