Ben Cat City, Bau Bang District establish self-defense units

Ben Cat City People's Committee has launched a self-defense unit at Chen Tai VN Co., Ltd. (My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park) consisting of 1 platoon with 28 members; including 1 platoon leader and 3 squad leaders.

Chen Tai VN Co., Ltd. is invested from Taiwan, with about 800 workers, specializing in manufacturing shoelaces, belts, elastic bands... This self-defense unit in the company is tasked with coordinating with other forces in the area to maintain political security, social order and safety, protect State assets and enterprise assets; propagate and mobilize the self-defense team and employees in the enterprise to properly implement the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws on national defense and security; and the company's board of directors' rules and regulations. In addition, the unit proactively advises the company's board of directors to ensure good policies and regimes for the self-defense force, fully participate in political education classes, military training, competitions, sports events and practice plans to protect the company's headquarters...
