In the early days of December, lively sporting activities took place in Ben Cat city to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People's Army (Dec 22, 1944 to Dec 22, 2024), the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (Dec 22, 1989 to Dec 22, 2024), and to welcome the 7th congress of the Party Committee of My Phuoc ward, leading up to the 13th congress of the Party Committee of Bến Cát City for the term of 2025-2030.

The table tennis tournament organized by Thoi Hoa ward has been successfully concluded

Specifically in Thoi Hoa ward, a table tennis tournament took place to attract more than 30 athletes from local clubs in two main events of men's singles and men's doubles, competing in a knockout format. Although they were all amateur athletes, the players have delivered many exciting and dramatic matches to the audience, embodying the spirit of solidarity and fair play in sports.

Meanwhile, in My Phuoc ward, the 5-a-side mini football tournament has attracted the participation of 8 strong local teams from the ward and other areas in Ben Cat city to compete. The teams were divided into 2 groups and will play in a round-robin format to earn points. The semi-final and final matches of the tournament will take place this weekend (on December 8).

Through these sports events, it aims to provide athletes, clubs, and localities with the opportunity to meet, exchange, and share experiences, contributing to the development and promotion of the physical education and sports movement in Ben Cat city.
