Ben Cat district’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), on July 1, held its 10th plenary session for the 2008 and 2013 tenure.

In the first half of 2013, the district’s FFC and its affiliates took many practical measures to improve their activities and teamed up with relevant agencies to mobilize the local people to effectively realize the State and Party’s policies and laws; took care of policy beneficiary families, poor households and workers on Tet and great holidays; built and handed over 13 unity houses, 3 houses of compassion and upgraded 3 other unity houses for policy beneficiary families and poor households with total expense of more than VND637mln.

The district’s FFC also took initiative in coordinating with relevant agencies to propagandize the PM’s Resolution 11 on curbing inflation and ensuring social welfare, mobilized the local people to seriously obey the State and Party’s policies and laws; collected public opinion for the draft amendments of the 1992 Constitution, the Land Law…

Addressing the conference, Bui Hung Dung, Vice-Secretary of Ben Cat district’s Party Committee suggested FFC at all levels to focus on some tasks, including continuing thoroughly grasping the Party’s policies regarding national great unity; excelling at mobilizing people from all strata to actively take part in emulation movements; upholding all sources to promote the local targets for industrialization and modernization…, to fulfill the local tasks for the rest of the year.
