Ben Cat, North Tan Uyen expedite progress of public investment projects

In 2025, Ben Cat city has allocated over VND 765 billion in public investment capital for 150 projects. Currently, key projects such as the project of Ho Chi Minh city belt road 4 section passing through the city, the project of upgrading DT748 road in An Dien ward and Phu An commune, the project of constructing a drainage system along DT744 road in An Tay ward and Phu An commune and the project of upgrading DT744 road passing through the city are all progressing under the planned schedule.

There are 2 projects celebrating Ben Cat city’s Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Particularly, the project of building the city’s Mass Organizations Headquarters with total investment of VND 44.938 billion has reached approximately 65% of the contract value. Meanwhile, the project of upgrading Hoa Loi Secondary School with total investment of VND 72.379 billion has completed its construction phase and is in the process of selecting contractors for its equipment package. Both projects are expected to be completed ahead of April 30.

To ensure the completion of the 2025 public investment plan, Ben Cat city is focusing on implementing solutions to overcome obstacles, accelerating the progress of the local public investment projects.

*In 2025, North Tan Uyen district is allocated 95 public investment projects with total capital of VND 337.204 billion. As of January 2025, the district’s disbursed investment capital reached VND 10.765 billion, achieving 3% of the plan. Additionally, the district has been consistently focusing on compensation and site clearance efforts to ensure the timely implementation of planned projects.

In the coming period, the district’s functional agencies will further monitor and urge contractors to accelerate construction progress while ensuring the quality of projects. They will also expedite the settlement and disbursement of funds for completed works, striving to achieve 100% of the 2025 public investment plan.
