Ben Cat open billiards tournament absorbs 80 players

On Jan.23 and 24, Ben Cat town’s Center for Culture and Information kicked off the 2016 open billiards tournament in celebration of Party and Lunar New Year.

This year’s tournament absorbed 80 players from 9 units in the province, including TDM city, towns of Ben Cat, Thuan An, Tan UYen, Di An and districts of Phu Giao, Dau Tieng and together 2 units from HCM city and Tay Ninh. They competed in the 3-cushion event. Finally, the organizers awarded first, second and third prizes to the best teams and individuals.

The tournament aimed to celebrate great holidays and the Lunar New Year 2016.  This was also a chance for billiards players to exchange and study mutual experience, promoting the local movement of sports and physical training in general and billiards in particular.
